Welcome to Hairy haggis studios, this site contains information about all of the different projects that are going on in the studio. So let me tell you more about the studio, the idea of Hairy haggis studios was born in the year 2002 to create and publish animations. Digital animations were becoming more popular and the ability to be able to produce them was becoming easier. Software such as SmithMicro Poser and Daz 3D was available to the public.
It took around 3 or 4 years to get Hairy haggis studios up and running, during this period a series of books were created but not published, these were known as the Witches of Yell, a small trailer was put together which was made with Poser version 4, which was the latest version at that time. The main idea of the studio was to create and distribute digital animations for writers especially new writers, rather than have a book published, have a film published instead.
We have spent many years building up a library of props that are used within the different software applications, we had many submissions sent to us, and spent many years creating them, however in June 2010 the site had closed. After a few months I decided to start work on the new version of the site as I wanted to use this space for my own projects.
I also use green screen commonly known as Chroma key to create certain effects, the software I use is quite standard such as Adobe Priemier CS4, but I'm still a bit tacky at Adobe After Effects CS4. For creating some backgrounds, logo etc. Corel Graphics Suite 11.
